An American Scary Movie Classic
Here we are again folks; another addition to the Halloween movie series... and the twist, it's directed by Rob Zombie. You remember him from his publications of various songs and the movie Devil's Rejects. This movie is very highly anticiated by all loyal long-time viewers of this series. Now I'm not sure what will happen next because this movie is at the hands of Rob Zombie. But from my take, I see that this movie and other movie series are starting to go back to the very beginning of how it all happened. This is to help fill in the holes of the story that we all wondered about.
As far as a comparison between my opinion of the best scary movie (Which is Saw) and this one (Halloween) I really see one thing. The simple fact of both main characters being serial killers. One with an end moral (Which is Saw) and one that just does cold-blooded killing (Which is Halloween). Me myself, I am a scary movie coniseaur and it takes quite a bit of gore for my skin to crawl. With Saw, it made my skin crawl due to the "what if" factor. The main character is based on a possible real life situation. Now with Halloween, the comparisons of both movies comes closer to that particular factor because Halloween is now going back to the childhood of Michael Meyers and how it all began. As we all know a bad person was never a bad child from birth. And in this coming movie that is what this motive is based on.
With the "what if" factor in mind, that's what makes a scary movie scary, when at any moment you yourself could meet that everyday person that could be the killer of the year.
So with that said, happy social meetings.
Halloween the movie
